This role will support the Senior Finance Business Partner/Finance Business Partner and the management accounts/R&E accounts team in financial monitoring of assigned faculty/directorates. You will also support the Senior Finance Business Partner/Finance Business Partner/R&E accounts team in the analysis and provision of financial information.

The Person

The successful candidate will be highly organised and methodical, with excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to work collaboratively with people at all levels to achieve results. 

They will be highly numerate and accurate and take pride in their attention to detail. Ideally, we are looking for someone who is studying for, or has a willingness to study for, an agreed accountancy qualification.

Directorate/Function

The Directorate for Finance, HR, and Infrastructure plays a critical role in shaping and supporting the University’s strategic and operational success. The Finance department aims to deliver the strategic objectives of the University with a clear focus on customer service. In all our work we try to use simple, common and consistent language as much as possible. This is a full time, permanent position with a starting salary of £34,007 per annum.
