Senior Lecturer in Education: English with Drama Specialist
In this role, you’ll be part of our teacher education team, teaching on a range of early years, primary and secondary education programmes, with a specific focus on English and Drama Education. You’ll also be involved in wider enterprise, scholarship and research developments in your area of expertise. You’ll use this activity in your teaching and in supporting educational partners to develop their research-engaged practice.
You’ll have deep subject knowledge for teaching in the field of English education and significant experience in developing English education in either primary or secondary school. You’ll have some experience with Drama education which you’ll use to develop the School’s drama provision. You’ll bring your pedagogic expertise into the role and be able to support strategic developments the School of Education’s involvement in English, Drama and the wider field of teacher education.
