Senior Accommodation Coordinator - 4515
The accommodation team at Kingston University is seeking a Senior Accommodation Coordinator to work within the Student Advice team administering the day-to-day operation of Kingston University accommodation provision.
You will represent the accommodation service to stakeholders including enquiry management, representation at key activities and liaison with internal/external colleagues such as facilities management staff in our halls of residence.
You will manage routine and annual accommodation tasks including marketing requirements, administering the halls conduct & behaviour procedure and ensuring compliance & administration tasks are completed.
The role is primarily based at our Penrhyn Road campus with some working from home considered, in line with current University policy and business need. Occasional work by rota on Saturdays is required to support student recruitment events (for which time off in lieu will be given).
The Person
You will be educated to first degree level or have an equivalent level of professional experience. Experience of using software systems is essential, especially general database/records/enquiry systems and ideally also accommodation management systems.
You will have excellent organisational and customer service experience and the ability to work independently to prioritise workload and solve problems that may arise. A working knowledge of housing law or practices is essential, ideally with an understanding of student residential life and how this is impacted by different student programmes of study.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working with a wide range of stakeholders and the ability to write concisely, clearly & effectively.

The Student Directorate aims to deliver a seamless, high-quality experience for all current and future students to ensure they are “sought after” through supporting their participation, attainment, and success. This in turn will create a culture of high performance that is inclusive, innovative, ambitious and enterprising.
The Student Services team provides the University’s first- and second-line services for students incorporating the Information Centre, Library and Learning Services, Specialist Course Support and Administration, Student Engagement and Student Life, Health and Wellbeing.
Services are designed to be accessible and inclusive of all students, to ensure their enquiries are resolved quickly and support is available to enable them to fully engage with and succeed in their studies.

This is a full time, permanent position with a starting salary of £38,863 per annum.
