Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the purpose of this role is to assist with the delivery of marketing activities and campaigns in order to support the University meeting its student recruitment targets.

Working as part of a team of marketing coordinators and advisors, the post holder will support assigned projects, including marketing campaigns, video production, photo shoots, events, and digital and traditional content. They will work flexibly, contributing across all areas of the wider team, which will involve working events, and supporting the wider team’s objectives.

The Person

The team’s primary objectives are to maximise lead generation to achieve agreed student recruitment targets and ROI. In order to accomplish these objectives, this role will be responsible for:

  • Producing and commissioning content, including written copy, video, audio and graphics, ensuring all content meets institutional tone of voice and enhances the conversion of enquirers, applicants and offer-holders.
  • Coordinating photoshoots, ensuring permission rights are collated for each project, keeping the image library up to date and completing all relevant administrative processes in relation to this.
  • Providing administrative support to the team in relation to financial processes and procedures, team meetings and the use of student ambassadors.
  • Supporting the Marketing Manager in the delivery of large-scale marketing projects and generating snapshot reports on all marketing activities.
  • Ensuring all work is carried out within GDPR regulations, Competitions Market Authority regulations and other relevant legislative frameworks.
  • Regularly monitoring and reporting on competitor activity, trends and any other duties required by the Marketing Manager and Director of UK Student Recruitment and Admissions including, but not limited to supporting Open Days and student recruitment and conversion.

This is a full-time permanent position with a starting salary of £32,271 per annum.
