Lecturer in Real Estate
Kingston Business School is investing in its Real Estate team, and it is seeking an experienced lecturer who can showcase innovative and inclusive teaching on its undergraduate and postgraduate courses. You will deliver and assess a range of modules and integrate a professional perspective in your curriculum. Experience of designing and delivering APC courses would also be beneficial.
You will be a member of a department that promotes industry-focused and practice-based learning. You will be an influential member of a dynamic group of academics and will have the opportunity to help develop the team’s footprint in industry relevant research or knowledge exchange. Through your pursuit of opportunities that enhance the faculty’s reputation in higher education and occupational circles, you’ll integrate academia with a professional perspective.
The Person
You’ll have, or be working towards, a PhD and demonstrate the potential to contribute to research through publications in quality journals, securing external funding, or engaging in knowledge transfer partnerships. While professional experience in the real estate field and MRICS status are not essential, they will be highly regarded. Experience of teaching on an RICS-accredited programme is desirable, and you will bring a strong track record of excellent teaching or hold a recognised teaching or learning qualification. If you haven’t already achieved the relevant level of UKPSF recognition, we’ll need you to do so before the end of your probation period.
