You will be a member of the Student Information Development team and you will support the development of the Universities student record system (SITS), ensuring that it meets the needs of applicants, students and staff. This role requires candidates with a basic knowledge of student systems and the applicant/student lifecycle. Full training will be available to support the successful candidate to take on the challenge of SITS developments.

The Person

You should have the ability to resolve issues without clear or pre-defined solutions. Excellent customer service focus and being passionate about delivering an exemplary customer experience and satisfaction is vital. You should be self-motivated, with the ability to work under pressure and take ownership of problems, organize, prioritize and monitor your own work and others to meet deadlines whilst maintaining standards. You will also have the ability to operate in a changing and uncertain working environment demonstrating resilience, versatility and being receptive and adaptable to accommodate new ideas and ways of working.

Directorate/Function

The Directorate for Finance, HR, and Infrastructure plays a critical role in shaping and supporting the University’s strategic and operational success. With a focus on excellence, efficiency, and people-centred practices, it delivers vital services that influence the daily experience of staff and students while enabling long-term institutional growth. These services span financial management, workforce development, and the maintenance of both physical and digital infrastructure - ensuring the University’s operations and ambitions are fully supported. With a clear focus on service quality, innovation, and people-first practices, the Directorate operates in close partnership with academic faculties and senior leadership to ensure institutional goals are achieved. It is driven by a commitment to excellence, service, and sustainable progress, promoting a culture where collaboration, innovation and transformation thrive. This is an opportunity to join a proactive, solutions-focused team whose work directly contributes to the University’s continued success.
