Reporting to the International Marketing and Conversion Manager, this role is responsible for managing international student recruitment enquiries and leading conversion projects that support the University’s international recruitment targets.

As the post holder, you will play a key role in delivering effective enquiry handling and conversion strategies across our undergraduate and postgraduate international portfolios. You will lead on the implementation and optimisation of our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems to deliver targeted communications and multi-channel engagement. Through this work, you will help generate leads, guide prospective students through their journey, and ultimately contribute to the success of our international recruitment outcomes.

The role sits within the International Recruitment Team and provides advice and guidance on all areas of international student recruitment. This includes admissions, marketing, conversion, and recruitment activity, as well as contributing to the development of policies and procedures that support international students.

The post holder will be expected to work flexibly across the wider marketing, student recruitment, and events team, contributing to events and supporting team objectives. Due to the nature of the role, occasional evenings and weekends may be required, so a flexible and collaborative approach is essential for success.

The Person

You will have a thorough understanding of the international higher education marketing landscape and the UK higher education system, combined with experience of managing and delivering multi-channel marketing, recruitment, and conversion strategies in an international HE context.

You will have a degree or equivalent experience with a professional qualification or equivalent postgraduate qualification. Also expected in this role is the understanding and compliance aspect with regards to the University’s financial guidelines, CMA, GDPR and other relevant legislative regulations.

Directorate/Function

The Directorate for Students attracts and supports an inclusive student body, ensuring students become sought-after graduates through career enhancement and a focus on wellbeing.

Recruitment and Admissions at Kingston University forms a large department within the Student Directorate encompassing recruitment and admissions across home and overseas students.

It provides a strategic, operational and advisory service for the University on all aspects of recruitment and admissions. This includes course marketing, student recruitment, student admissions, website management and development, design & print, copywriting, editing as well as international development, visa and immigration advice, events and graduation services. Together we are committed to widening access and improving customer service across the entire applicant journey.

Further information

This is a full-time, fixed-term position until 30 September 2026, with a starting salary of £ 44,404 per annum.

This role is available as the current post holder is on a fixed-term secondment covering maternity leave. The expectation is that you will remain in post for the full duration; however, if the colleague on maternity leave exercises their right to return earlier, the secondment will end and your appointment will be terminated with one month’s notice.

Interviews are due to be held on Thursday, 02 October 2025.
