The International Partnerships Manager will lead the coordination and implementation of Kingston University’s international partnership and Transnational Education (TNE) activity, aligned to the International Plan 2025–28 and Strategic TNE Framework.

The post holder will play a key institutional role in identifying, shaping, and advancing new international partnership opportunities. Working collaboratively with the Associate Director of International Student Recruitment, the Director of Student Recruitment and Admissions, and senior colleagues across Faculties and Professional Services, the role will ensure that Kingston University develops partnerships that are strategically aligned, academically robust, and financially sustainable.

You will lead the early-stage assessment of prospective partnerships, coordinating due diligence, business case development, and internal stakeholder engagement. The role will oversee the progression of new opportunities through the University’s approval processes, ensuring effective planning, governance, and risk management. In addition, you will contribute to the ongoing management and enhancement of partnerships post-approval, supporting their long-term success, quality assurance, and growth in line with institutional priorities.

The Person

You will hold an honours degree (or equivalent) and have experience in international partnership development or Transnational Education (TNE) within Higher Education. You will bring knowledge of global HE trends, TNE policy, and financial modelling, with the ability to contribute to business cases and assess strategic and financial information.

A collaborative and highly organised professional, you will have experience working across academic and professional teams, with an understanding of risk, compliance, and budget management in an international partnership context. You will demonstrate excellent communication, coordination, and data management skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects, including overseas activity.

You will also show cultural awareness, a commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion, and the ability to build effective relationships across diverse international contexts.
