Faculty Support Administrator
Working as part of the Faculty Operations Support Team, this role will support the effective administration and scheduling of Role Players in our simulated learning provision and clinical assessments. Role Players are an integral part of our Pharmacy, Nursing and Midwifery courses, playing the role of patients in our simulated environments. The role holder will also provide ad hoc project support across our Schools. This role is part time and some responsibilities on the attached job description will be adjusted to reflect that.
The Faculty Support Administrator is a key role to ensure the faculty operates smoothly and meets strategic objectives. It plays a crucial role in promoting a positive work culture through practical day-to-day activities, fostering collaboration and communication, and enhancing the reputation of the faculty.
The Person
We are looking for someone who excels in working cooperatively and collaboratively with others and can build good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You will be able to plan and organise effectively, using your own initiative where appropriate and delivering to deadlines whilst maintaining quality and keeping an eye on the detail. You will be educated to A-Level standard or equivalent, proficient in office 365, with experience of applying standards and procedures in Finance and HR, and working knowledge of administrative processes and diary management.
The Faculty
The Faculty of Health, Science, Social Care and Education offers wide ranging practice-based education and training programmes across nursing, health science, midwifery, social care and teaching which are informed by high quality and impactful research.
We have a successful track record in public and service user engagement and developing knowledge transfer partnerships and other enterprise activities.
The Faculty’s professional administration and support teams work together to ensure business and support services are effective, efficient and sustainable in meeting the needs of our students, staff, stakeholders and areas of work.

This is a permanent, part-time position of 0.5 FTE, 18.5 hours per week with a starting salary is £14,739 per annum (50% pro rata to £29,478 per annum).
