You will work closely with Faculties to support their plans for growing enrolments on degree apprenticeships, and with colleagues in other external facing teams such as Partnerships and Business Engagement, and Recruitment and Admissions, to ensure a joined-up approach to employer engagement that meets all stakeholder needs.

You will support planning and delivery of a range of employer engagement and marketing activities that will position Kingston University as a degree apprenticeship partner of choice for employers. This will include the management of social media promotion of Kingston University Degree Apprenticeships.

The Person

The successful candidate will hold a degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field or have several years of equivalent experience in similar or related roles. Have demonstrated experience in a client-facing role preferably within an apprenticeship training provider, showcasing the ability to interact effectively with diverse clientele.

Strong IT skills, including a minimum of intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, are required.
Experienced with CRM systems or equivalent tools used for recording client information and managing data to pursue opportunities leading to new business development and client engagement.

A thorough knowledge of statutory apprenticeship regulatory requirements and a solid grasp of apprenticeship levy regulations and funding processes are essential. Excellent written and oral communication skills that facilitate clear and effective interaction with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders at different levels of hierarchy.

A customer service driven individual able to consult and create learning and development solutions for client business partners and bring innovative concepts to business engagement. The ability to achieve realistic and challenging targets with an existing client base and expand this through proactive identification of growth opportunities.

Directorate/Function

The Academic Services Directorate includes Research & Impact, Knowledge Exchange, Academic Registry, Quality Assurance and Enhancement, the Learning and Teaching Enhancement Centre and Brand, Communications and Public Affairs. Collectively the Directorate supports academics in their research and KE activities and supports some of the University’s governance and decision-making committees, maintains academic regulations, develops and implements academic policies, oversees the quality and standards of academic provision and leads the development of education practices across the University.

The Directorate is responsible for stimulating cutting edge research, impact and knowledge exchange and supporting a vibrant community of graduate research students, to increase the volume, impact and visibility of our research and business activities. We actively liaise with Faculties and researchers to support and develop research activities across all disciplines and provide related training and development opportunities. We foster interdisciplinary working to promote, advance and share knowledge with the overall aim of securing new revenue sources and contributing to regional prosperity. Our goal is to foster and sustain a vibrant research culture in which our researchers and research students can flourish.

This is a full time, permanent position with a starting salary of £38,863 per annum.
