We are seeking experienced Assistant Registrar (Student Records) to join our Student Records Team at Kingston University.

The role will have primary responsibility for maintaining and enhancing the quality of the University’s Student Records and returns across the full student body. This includes but is not limited to the training of staff on the SITS record system, running data integrity checks, providing high level support and expertise on advanced SITS-related queries and supporting with the annual Data and Records operating plan.

In this highly collaborative role, you will work closely with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, fostering a culture of inclusivity, transparency, and mutual respect.

The Person

We are looking for a professional, friendly, self-motivated, and excellent team player. You will be working in an inclusive environment alongside a small but friendly team that supports one another through the day to day running of the Student Record’s office.                                                           

You will have excellent communications skills, attention to detail, and a confident and proactive approach to your work. The ability to build good working relationships with colleagues across the university is essential, and listening effectively and responding sensitively to others is important. You will work closely with the Student Records Manager and the wider Registry Department.

Please note this is a hybrid role and you will be expected to work 60% of the working week on campus, please consider this when applying for the role.

Directorate/Function

The Directorate for Academic Services includes Research & Impact, Knowledge Exchange, Academic Registry, Quality Assurance and Enhancement and the Learning and Teaching Enhancement Centre.  Collectively the Directorate supports academics in their research and KE activities and supports some of the University’s governance and decision-making committees, maintains academic regulations, develops and implements academic policies, oversees the quality and standards of academic provision and leads the development of education practices across the University.

The Directorate is responsible for stimulating cutting edge research, impact and knowledge exchange and supporting a vibrant community of graduate research students, to increase the volume, impact and visibility of our research and business activities.  We actively liaise with Faculties and researchers to support and develop research activities across all disciplines and provide related training and development opportunities.  We foster interdisciplinary working to promote, advance and share knowledge with the overall aim of securing new revenue sources and contributing to regional prosperity.  Our goal is to foster and sustain a vibrant research culture in which our researchers and research students can flourish.

This is a full-time, permanent position with a starting salary of £44,154 per annum (including London Weighting).
